Basically manicure is a nail care treatment. This involves many steps like filing, shaping, cutting, massaging and at the end applying nail polish. French manicure looks very feminine and elegant. It works very well during your working hours and parties. French manicure nails can be paint with any type of outfit. You can get French manicure by a nail artist or also can be done by yourself at home. Acrylic and gel French manicure should be better left to professional as they should be done with a lot of care and if not done accurately, you can damage you nail bed. And they are costly too. Following are some accessories you may need in doing French manicure at home

  • Hand cream
  • Cotton
  • Nail remover
  • Warm water bottle
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Shampoo
  • Cuticle pusher
  • Basecoat
  • Nail pint in light colors
  • White nail paint
  • French tip guide
  • Top coat
  • Cuticle oil

French Manicure at Home ‘Process’

Don’t use acetone to remove nail paint because it will damage your nails. This is the first step of French manicure

Second step is dipping your nails in warm water. You can add some amount of hydrogen peroxide and shampoo in this water. Dip your hands for 10 to 15 minutes.

After that apply cuticle oil on your nails and do massage for 15 minutes.

Now push back your cuticles and snip off any dry ones.

After that apply good quality nourishing basecoat and let it dry first!

After that apply some base color like light pink, brown shades according to your choice and let it dry completely.

When your base color dries completely, put the French manicure tip guide under your nail smile line. Paint your nail tip with white nail color and then remove French tip guide when your nail paint still wet

Now apply the top coat and let it dry and then apply cuticle oil to give extra nourishment to your nails.
